What you’re applying for

We are looking for a Content Specialist who is equal parts writing whiz and content operations pro to help create engaging, helpful content and keep our library up-to-date and user-friendly.

As a core member of the Organic Growth squad, you’ll be responsible for producing clear, engaging long and short-form content that helps inform and educate Lemonade’s current and future customers. This is an exciting time to join as we grow our ecosystem of owned media, and your work will directly support Lemonade’s mission of making insurance lovable.

In this role you’ll

Write and edit a variety of content formats, including blog articles, product-style landing pages, one-pagers, and interactive tools, while applying SEO best practices throughout the content creation process

Maintain and evolve Lemonade’s tone of voice and brand consistency across all content touch points

Use AI tools and workflows to draft, refine, and scale content efficiently without compromising quality

Support content operations by maintaining documentation and completing regular content audits to keep our content accurate, compliant, and fresh

Lead initiatives that improve on-page user experience, build trust and authority, and help Lemonade’s content reach and resonate with new audiences

Collaborate with internal stakeholders including SEO, content strategist, content analyst, product communications, and customer experience to create content that supports acquisition, engagement, and education goals.

What you’ll need

At least 3 years experience in a content-focused role, including both long and short-form pieces (no insurance background required)

Native-level fluency in American English

Proficiency in French, Dutch, or UK English, a plus

Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools (e.g. Ahrefs, Clearscope, Google Analytics) and a good grasp of on-page SEO best practices

Experience using AI tools as part of your content creation process

Proven experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress

Strong self-editor with sharp attention to detail and a commitment to producing clean, accurate, and engaging content

Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines

Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

A portfolio of high-quality, engaging writing samples

Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week

Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
