Assistant Controller

As our platform grows and our services expand, we are looking for a talented Assistant Controller to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated CPA to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-growing fintech and banking environment.An empty job that is used for creating requisitions 'from scratch'

Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – must.
2+ years of experience following internship (post-internship experience).
Experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
High level of English, both written and verbal.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Your Day-to-Day:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Assist in regulatory and financial reporting processes.
Support the preparation of management reports and analytical reviews.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and other finance-related projects.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and financial control activities.

Advantages:

Experience in the banking, fintech, or financial services industry.
Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP.
Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP.
Experience with regulatory reporting processes.
Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools – an advantage.
