Senior Backend Developer (Python)Hod HaSharon

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our cross-functional product team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems that drive product scalability and performance. The core technologies include Python, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud services, where our servers are deployed. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop new features and optimize existing systems to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:
Own and maintain core backend services, supporting millions of operations daily.
Collaborate within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality features using Agile methodologies.
Ensure backend infrastructure is scalable and efficient, leveraging cloud services for server deployment.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Python. Tech-lead experience is a plus.
Proven track record in developing and supporting high-scale systems.
Experience with cloud platforms, including server deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Strong experience with large database environments, ideally PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Agile development practices.
Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them from concept to production.
Strong English communication skills.
Experience with Celery, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, Redis, and Sentry is a plus.
Previous experience in a tech startup is a plus.
Passion for DevOps is a plus.
