Our core areas of expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Foundation Core are in the management of landscapes, cloud content, and user management. We optimize our management tools and experiences to cater for efficient, automated, and scalable cloud management and operations.

BTP Foundation enables you to future-proof your application investment with a cloud-native hybrid foundation integrated with all major IaaS vendors, including regulated industries and markets.

Lately, we have begun re-shaping the platform with a journey to the future cloud-native platform to deliver an integrated set of services that provide the core capabilities of the platform, building a consistent model for service providers and service consumers as part of the SAP Ecosystem.

To achieve our new and ambitious goal, we are looking for a great people-person to join our team, as one of our strong, committed, self-motivated, reliable and analytically skilled team-players, together owning and shaping the future of the SAP Business Technology Platform.

You will work as a part of a highly motivated team and apply agile development practices like pair programming, test driven development and continuous integration and delivery. That also means getting familiar with the newest technologies and open-source projects.

Responsibilities Include:

Challenging software development tasks, full stack, working with the most advanced technologies
Research, design and implement complex product features and functionalities for cutting edge cloud technologies as part of SAP Business Technology Platform
Commit on project timeline and tasks, deliver on time, in scope and with high, un-compromised, quality
Develop and enhance automatic tests
Work in Agile development methodologies, being a member of a scrum team
Collaborate effectively with the team of enthusiastic developers and stakeholders
Lead backlog items and tasks while guiding other developers for best execution
Gain advanced overall product and technical knowledge to be able to share with others
Focus on End to End – from software requirement until delivery on cloud
Continuously measure and improve the performance of our systems

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

BA in Computer Science or Software engineering
At least 5 years of proven development experience
Knowledge and experience in Cloud Native paradigms
Excellent knowledge in multiple modern programming languages e.g: Go, Java
Experience with container technologies (Docker, K8S)
Automation savvy – Jenkins, Maven, Unit-Test, Selenium
Curiosity and ability to quickly understand and learn new technologies, concepts and tools
Experience and knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
Team player. Excellent communication and teamwork skills (The team and the development manager are based in Israel).
Results driven with excellent execution skills. Self-managed.
Fluent English

Extra Points For:

Familiar with Kubernetes principles and developing with K8S tool (e.g comfortable with using kubectl to describe a cluster)
Familiarity with cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud)
Experience with continues integration and continues delivery methodology and tools
Experience with development in microservices architecture
Experience with development in Cloud Foundry environment
Experience with cloud service monitoring and operations
