Manual QA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing processes and methodologies and will hold relevant QA certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, providing detailed reports to the development team.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Ensure that all tested software meets or exceeds quality standards.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation and QA processes.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CSTP, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of SQL and scripting.
Familiarity with automated testing tools and basic understanding of how to integrate manual testing with automated tests.
