Financial reporting and Accounting Specialist

Summary
Financial reporting and Accounting Specialist will be responsible for multiple aspects of the accounting and reporting of financial statements, which also includes month-end closings, reporting, reconciliations, financial controls, while collaborating closely with business partners from country and above-country FRA teams, country BPAs. Furthermore, responsibilities embrace high quality reporting & reconciliation as per Novartis required standards
About the Role

Key responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage customer accounts, issue invoices and credit notes, and monitor payments
Perform collections from domestic and international clients
Execute sales reconciliations and match payments to invoices
Prepare monthly VAT reports in accordance with local and European regulations
Work within a SOX-compliant environment, including implementation of internal controls
Collaborate with global teams across Finance, Sales, Service, and Reporting
Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
Work with SAP ERP systems – mandatory
Integrate into a professional team while demonstrating continuous learning, mental flexibility, and effective collaboration

Essential Requirements:

Certified Bookkeeper – Level 2 minimum (Level 3 preferred)
Relevant years of experience in customer accounting
Experience in an international work environment – an advantage
Full proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
High-level English – mandatory
Familiarity with SOX compliance – strong advantage
Strong self-learning ability, teamwork skills, operational agility, and excellent interpersonal communication
