Head of QA

We are seeking for an experienced Head of QA with an excellent functional understanding of data products, to lead our QA team. The Head of QA will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our product, troubleshooting, analyzing complex issues, managing QA processes, and driving initiatives.

What you’ll do:

Leadership and management: Lead and manage the QA team, including recruitment and mentoring. ,
Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive QA processes and plans to ensure product quality
Collaborate closely with development, product management, and operations teams to ensure the integration of QA processes
Testing and Validation: Oversee the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and performance testing.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in the QA field.
Proven management experience of at least 5 years.
Proven knowledge of system test architectures/design and implementation
Proficiency in agile methodologies and management tools like Jira, X-RAY, and bitbucket
Strong technical capabilities in test planning for data complex systems.
Experience with K8S, ArgoCD, Pipelines, ArgoWF –advantage.
Jira Administrative experience -advantage (big advantage)
Excellent hands-on testing skills for data systems, both with and without a UI.
Familiarity with log management and analytics systems- an advantage
Experience with cloud providers like Azure and AWS -an advantage
Strong functional understanding of data product
Ability to set and uphold high-quality standards and raise the bar for excellence.
