Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated QA and Automation Team Leader to join our engineering team in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will lead a team of quality assurance engineers in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge SaaS platform. You will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining robust testing processes and automation frameworks, ensuring a seamless user experience while guaranteeing the high performance of our applications that drive e-commerce success for brands worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of QA and Automation engineers, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies for PDQ’s SaaS platform.
Design and develop automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies.
Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests, ensuring thorough coverage of all features and functionalities.
Conduct code reviews and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
Identify, track, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and methodologies, staying abreast of industry best practices.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on test progress and quality metrics.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
2+ years of experience in leading QA teams.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and tools.
Extensive experience in test automation framework design and implementation.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Advantages:

Experience with performance testing and load testing tools.
Knowledge of security testing principles and practices.
Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS).
Experience in the e-commerce or SaaS industry.
