RESPONSIBILITES

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to support the construction and commissioning phases of a cutting-edge Hydrogen Electrolysis Production and Purification Plant. This role is instrumental in ensuring the operational excellence and integrity of our complex control systems, which are integral to the safe and efficient production of hydrogen.

Provide expert support for the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems, including:
Six Hydrogen Electrolyser Units with advanced Siemens PLC S7-1500, integrated into a comprehensive plant control system via a fiber-optic network.
Power supply units, interfacing with electrolyser units and medium voltage switchgear through both hardwired and ProfiNet connections.
Cryogenic Hydrogen Purification Units equipped with microcontrollers, Modbus, and direct connections to the plant control system.
Low Voltage and Instrumentation systems within specialized containers, incorporating remote I/O cabinets, motor control centers, and gas detection systems.
Serve as the primary liaison between onsite construction management and the engineering headquarters, addressing all instrumentation and control system inquiries.
Engage actively in construction team meetings, providing insights and solutions to onsite challenges.
Supervise and guide the installation of field instrumentation, automated valves, and other critical components.
Ensure quality control, organize improvement initiatives, and manage construction punch list items to uphold project standards.
Coordinate with I&C subcontractors and support pre-commissioning activities including panel setups and system tests.
Facilitate effective communication and documentation processes to meet project milestones and achieve mechanical completion.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and support the commissioning team through all phases, including loop checks, interface tests, and system function validations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two years' experience in planning and supervising instrumentation and electrical installations.
Proficient in Siemens PCS7 systems and experienced with various field instruments and control valves.
Demonstrated expertise in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex systems.
Familiarity with explosion hazards, safety protocols, and applicable Israeli Codes and Standards for hydrogen facilities.
Proficient in MS Office suite; knowledge of Hebrew is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
