Senior Electrical Engineer

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the technical delivery of electrical projects across Malta. This is a hands-on role covering the full project lifecycle, from design and tender preparation through to installation, commissioning, and project handover.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and review electrical designs, drawings, and technical documentation
Supervise and mentor engineers and technical staff
Coordinate electrical works across multiple projects
Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and cost estimates
Oversee site installations, testing, commissioning, and handovers
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and health & safety requirements
Support the development and growth of the engineering team
Requirements
MQF Level 6 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Warranted Engineer status with the Malta Engineering Board
7–10 years of experience within the electrical or MEP sector
Strong knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, containment, earthing, and ELV systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Valid Maltese driving licence
Desirable
Experience with Revit MEP or BIM software
Knowledge of MV switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and BMS integration
Proficiency in Maltese
