About the Role

Elad Systems is hiring a Senior Algorithms Engineer to join our team and work remotely for one of our clients.

The client is an Israeli startup in the Video AI space, developing cutting-edge technologies for video analysis, processing, and automation. The company enables publishers and media organizations to automatically generate short clips from long videos, detect key highlights, and significantly improve audience engagement.

We are looking for more than a traditional engineer — we are seeking an AI-augmented powerhouse who leverages tools such as Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, and other AI-driven environments to maximize productivity and innovation.

The Role

Research & Innovation

Design and develop Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms using Deep Learning, LLMs, and VLMs (Gemini, ChatGPT, open-source models)

Research and prototype cutting-edge AI approaches

Data Science & Analytics

Analyze large-scale datasets to uncover patterns and behavioral insights

Build predictive and behavioral models

Architecture (Algo-Ops)

Build scalable frameworks to integrate, debug, deploy, and maintain algorithms in cloud environments

Ensure production-grade reliability and performance

End-to-End Engineering

Own backend, infrastructure, and DevOps environments powering AI systems

Lead projects from research phase to production deployment

Continuous Evolution

Stay at the forefront of AI advancements

Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, models, and workflows

Requirements

M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

8+ years of software development experience

4+ years of hands-on Python experience

Expert-level proficiency in PyTorch and TensorFlow

Deep expertise in video processing and Computer Vision

Proven experience analyzing large-scale data and building predictive behavioral models

Strong autonomy and ability to lead complex initiatives independently

Passion for continuous AI learning and rapid technological evolution

Advantages

Experience with Generative AI

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Nomad
