The Merchant Finance Associate supports the financial operations of the merchant finance
team, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial transactions. This role acts as a key
contact for finance-related queries, helps maintain financial records, supports the team with
process improvements, and assists in managing invoicing and regulatory requirements.

Role Requirements:
Assist as the first point of contact for finance-related inquiries, resolving routine issues to
support day-to-day operations.
Support the supervision and review of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and
compliance.
Contribute to the implementation of process improvements to streamline daily financial
workflows.
Assist finance teams in resolving basic issues related to invoices, payments, and
discrepancies.
Participate in special projects involving cross-functional collaboration, under the
guidance of team manager.
Support tax-related processes and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
Help ensure timely and accurate processing of financial records, such as invoices and
payment documentation.

Our humble expectations

1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
Basic understanding of financial bodies, regulations and standards, with a willingness to
learn more.
Experience working with Excel and data analytic tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and
resolving routine discrepancies.
Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple stakeholders within the finance team.
Experience with financial tools and platforms for documentation and record-keeping is an
advantage but not required.
Eagerness to grow in the role and take on increasing responsibilities.
