Quality Inwards Officer (Afternoon Shift, Fixed Term)

Your Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Quality Inwards Officer to join our team of dedicated Quality Control professionals. This role is all about ensuring raw and packaging materials comply with our documented quality management system to ensure that we release product fit for purpose to the market. Reporting to the Quality Control Team Leader you will be working closely with the Inwards, Inventory, Procurement, Planning, and Quality Assurance teams.

This is a 6 month fixed term opportunity, supporting the Afternoon Shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm).

Your responsibilities will include:

Sampling of raw and packaging materials and finished goods.
Ensuring that incoming documentation such as CoAs and MPI-related documents (e.g. EDs) are correct.
Ensuring that master packing material standards are maintained.
Releasing materials
Preparation of Reject Reports and Return to Supplier Reports

To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Good computer skills - Outlook, Word and Excel
Great communication skills
Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
Physical capability to manage the manual handling requirements of the role – manoeuvring of items up to 25kg.
