Logistics Specialist – Global Operations

Key Responsibilities International Shipping & Logistics Manage and coordinate domestic and international import and export shipments. Prepare and review shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and customs documentation. Coordinate daily activities with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and customers. Arrange shipment pickups, transportation, customs clearance, and deliveries. Monitor shipments from dispatch through final delivery, proactively addressing delays and operational issues. Ensure compliance with shipping procedures, customs requirements, and agreed Incoterms. Warehouse & Inventory Operations Coordinate inbound and outbound activities with local and international warehouses and 3PL providers. Manage and update inventory transactions in the ERP system, including receipts, transfers, and shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records, including serial numbers, lot numbers, and stock locations. Verify shipment quantities and documentation against purchase orders, sales orders, and inventory records. Follow up on warehouse receiving, shipping, and inventory reconciliation activities. Supporting physical inventory counts and investigate inventory discrepancies. Internal Operations & Reporting Work closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance, R&D, and Operations to support daily logistics requirements. Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare operational and inventory reports. Provide timely shipment updates and follow up on outstanding logistics activities. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes, accuracy, and efficiency. Perform occasional hands-on logistics activities, including shipment preparation, receiving, inventory handling, and supporting lab and R&D inventory management Requirements: Job Requirements 2–3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, international shipping, import/export, or supply chain operations. Good understanding of international shipping procedures, customs clearance, and Incoterms. Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics providers. Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite is a significant advantage. Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines. Proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset. Willingness to perform hands-on operational tasks when required. Experience in a global high-tech, electronics, or semiconductor environment – an advantage.
