DevOps Team Leader

What you get to do in the role:

As a Team lead you will manage a team of DevOps engineers.

You will manage, optimize, and maintain Databases and message brokers, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongodb, Redis, RabbitMQ.

You will manage, design, build and maintain infrastructure using well-known tools such as Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD tools.

The team is responsible for deployments, backups, and monitoring, as well as integration between services (JIRA, Github, Slack, Freshdesk, etc.), Manage employee access to production and engineering services, investigate and mitigate operational issues.

Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership to the DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Guide team members in adopting best practices and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Streamline and enhance development and deployment processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage, design, implement and maintain all company DevOps related aspects such as building & maintaining micro-services infrastructure, monitoring, CICD, security, DB optimizations, backups and so on...
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure.
Organize and utilize the different 3rd party tools which appear below

Requirements:

A dynamic and charismatic leader with a natural ability to connect with and inspire others, as well as service level approach when working with other teams in the company.
5+ years experience as DevOps Engineer and DBA.
Experience with leading a team
Strong knowledge and understanding of networking: TCP/IP, Cloud LB’s, nginx, DNS, VPN, VPC, SG/FW etc.
Experience working with cloud platform, such as AWS / GCP / Azure
Experience working and maintaining RDBs and Non SQL DBS
Experience and ability to write complicated SQL queries
Experience with ETL and related tools such as Talend or PowerBI
Experience with tools such as CloudHealth, Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus, Jenkins, CircleCi etc.
Linux experience in a system administration level
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes / AWS ECS
Understanding aspects of cyber security, attack vectors, tools such as CloudGuard, and remediation of PenTest results.
Proficiency with a programming language like Python and with shell scripting. Familiarity with Golang is a plus.
