General Summary:

For our software group, we’re seeking an intern with medium level coding skills, ability to analyze embedded code and follow design concepts. Most importantly, a team player with passion for learning and exceptional self-learning capabilities.

Responsibilities

· Assist in developing and debugging embedded software components.

· Analyze existing embedded code and contribute to improvements.

· Implement features following design specifications and coding standards.

· Collaborate with team members on integration and testing activities.

· Document code changes and participate in code reviews.

Mandatory qualifications:

· One year programming experience (C/C++/C#/Java), including university projects

· Independent, with strong self-learning and self-management skills

· 3rd year (out of 4) student in for SW Engineering degree (B.Sc) or equivalent

Advantageous skills and experience:

· Longer programming experience, C Preferred

· Communication systems

· Operating systems, specifically RTOS

· Embedded systems, low-level programming (drivers, SW/HW integration)

· Security and Cryptography

Work Commitment

· At least 16 hours per week during academic semesters.

· At least 25 hours per week during university vacations.

Learning Opportunities

· Gain hands-on experience in embedded software development for real-world applications.

· Work with RTOS and low-level programming, including drivers and hardware/software integration.

· Exposure to communication protocols, security concepts, and cryptography in embedded systems.

· Learn industry best practices for code quality, debugging, and performance optimization.

· Mentorship from experienced engineers and collaboration in a professional development environment.

Future Career Prospects

· Build a strong foundation for roles such as Embedded Software Engineer, Firmware Developer, or System Software Engineer.
