DevOps & Database Engineer

ONE ZERO is seeking a DBA and DevOps Engineer specialized in Oracle OCI. The ideal candidate excels in team settings, with strong communication skills and deep industry knowledge. Responsibilities include managing database architecture in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, automating workflows, monitoring system health, and implementing disaster recovery plans. Candidates must blend database management expertise with DevOps approaches to streamline operations and enhance business management, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and practical initiative management.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions
3-5 years of experience with Oracle ADW, OCI, and data integration
Proficient in DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD and automation
3 years of experience in data cleansing, extraction, modeling, and transformation
Skilled in implementing data solutions and transformations
Strong understanding of database systems and scripting (SQL, NoSQL, Python)
Familiarity with cloud architecture principles and scalability
3 years of experience with data pipeline and integration tools
Capable of solving complex issues and driving innovation
Experience in data recovery, maintenance, and integrity
Collaborate with finance partners on system solutions
Team player with a customer support mindset
Fluent in English, both verbal and written

Responsibilities:

Design and manage database architecture within OCI
Automate database and infrastructure workflows using DevOps tools
Perform performance tuning and optimization
Ensure security and compliance
Integrate machine learning models
