Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software development.
5+ years of experience in leading, managing, and scaling R&D teams, with at least 15 employees, some outside of Israel.
At least one position as a VP R&D.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience of Backend technologies and architecture
Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, high-scale backend development in either Node.js/Java/ Python.
Experience in working with cloud-based architectures and AWS specifically.
familiar with web technologies
Ability to carry requirements from early phase to full implementation.
"Can-Do" attitude and mindset.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

As the VP R&D at Kendago, you will:

Lead teams of BE and FE developers and QA.
Design and develop core infrastructure modules and functional services, tackle large scale and load challenges, utilizing NodeJS and Python.
Lead, coach, and mentor the R&D organization to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Build the teams and product roadmap.
Work closely with the product manager to ensure the company's vision is effectively implemented with the highest standards.
Establish and maintain a fluent, self-maintained, flexible, and fast development process, constantly striving for improvement.
