Rolling Stock Maintenance Passenger and Freight Expert (f/m/d)

For our Electrification Project in Tel Aviv, we are looking for a Rolling Stock Maintenance Passenger & Freight Expert Expert.

Responsibilities:

Definition and writing specifications for projects/works mentioned below
Understanding and usage of relevant railway standards TSI, EN. UIC
Evaluating technical proposals of rolling stock manufacturers
Technical support for evaluation of malfunctions and Alstom investigations
Homologation process of Taking new rolling stock to operation (TSI, ASBO, DeBo, NoBo, ISA)
Review of technical documents from consultants and suppliers that have been ordered by the client
Consultancy of the client, and suppliers ordered by the client
Technical evaluation of tenders, variations, changes and non-compliances
Support the client in technical negotiations
Qualifications:

University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Railway Engineering or similar qualification
At least 6 years of experience in railway projects
Long standing experience in rolling stock maintenance, incl. overhauls, homologation, upgrade/ retrofit
Experience in the technical supervision, maintenance, procurement & repair of passenger coaches and freight wagons
Familiarity with different technical systems within passenger and freight coaches
Familiarity with standardization and norms, incl. European norms (EN, TSI)
Willingness to re-locate to Israel for at least 2 years
Excellent English skills
