Director of IT

At Innoviz Technologies the IT infrastructure is essential to our operations, and we are looking for an experienced Director of IT who will be responsible for shaping and implementing the company’s IT strategy, leading the IT main pillars, and ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

System Administration

Lead the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of global IT systems, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Ensure uptime, availability, and performance across all systems and implement monitoring solutions to proactively address potential issues.
Oversee the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing agreements.

Help Desk

Lead a help desk team, ensuring timely and effective technical support to employees across multiple regions and time zones.
Develop and implement procedures to standardize troubleshooting and support requests.
Track and report on help desk metrics to ensure continuous improvement in service levels and employee satisfaction.
Ensure the help desk team is trained and equipped to support all company devices, applications, and tools.

Cyber Security

Lead the company's global cyber security strategy, protecting critical business assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements for data protection and privacy (e.g., GDPR).
Oversee security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing to proactively identify and address potential risks.
Lead incident response efforts, ensuring the company is prepared to react swiftly and effectively to any security breach.
Promote security awareness and provide training to employees to mitigate human-related security risks.
Experience in overseeing security infrastructure compliance and risk management within the IT domain.

Requirements:

Proven Experience: 10+ years in IT leadership, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing system administration, help desk operations, and cyber security.
Technical Expertise: Strong background in IT infrastructure management, including networking, cloud computing (AWS, Azure), virtualization, databases, and server management.
Cyber Security: Extensive knowledge of security frameworks (TISAX, ISO 27001), endpoint protection, firewalls, threat management, and experience leading security incident response teams.
Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring teams, with the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced, global environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying IT challenges and providing innovative solutions.
Project Management: Experience leading large-scale IT projects from conception through to execution, on time and within budget.
Certifications (Preferred): Relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, ITIL, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, etc.), Academic degree in Computer Science.
