Development Team Lead - Nayax Capital

Nayax Capital is scaling digital B2B capital and fintech products innovating in the intersection of fintech and payments globally and we are looking for strong Development Team Lead with deep full-stack expertise, architectural thinking, and proven leadership capabilities. You will lead a talented engineering team in building and scaling our fintech platform, bridging product strategy and technical execution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead and mentor 3-5 engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth
Design scalable architecture for high-volume fintech systems (AWS serverless + on-prem PostgreSQL hybrid-cloud)
Drive code quality, testing standards, and deployment practices
Collaborate with product, legal, and finance on technical feasibility and timelines
• Evaluate and integrate third-party platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite)

The Development Team Lead will report directly to the GM - Nayax Capital.

Requirements:

What Makes You a Great Fit:

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of software development experience
3+ years leading engineering teams (hiring, mentoring, performance management)
5+ years hands-on experience with React and Node.js
Strong AWS expertise (Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, networking, IAM)
Deep understanding of system architecture and scalable systems design
PostgreSQL and database design experience
Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing
Excellent English communication skills; capable of articulating technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Fintech or payments industry experience
Startup or scale-up environment experience
Experience with embedded finance or banking-as-a-service platforms
Hands-on experience with ML systems or credit underwriting
Experience integrating with third-party banking APIs or payment platforms
