Automation Team Lead

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automation engineer
Proficiency in Python for automation script development
Experience with automation infrastructure and test automation tools and frameworks
Prior managerial experience is a plus
Demonstrated success in developing and sustaining automation solutions.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach

What are we looking for:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Team Lead to join our team. This role will involve leading a team of 3 automation engineers to deliver high-quality automation solutions across our entire R&D department.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation engineering with at least 5 years of experience, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in Python.

responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of 3 automation engineers, ensuring delivery of efficient and effective automation solutions
Provide comprehensive automation services to the R&D division, focusing on infrastructure and test automation
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and tools to support ongoing projects
Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure the code's quality and adherence to best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with project goals and organizational objectives
Manage the team’s roadmap and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
60% hands-on technical work - Infrastructure and writing automation
