R&D Team Leader

We are searching for a technical Team Leader to spearhead a new team of engineers in our growing R&D department of the Privacy group.
You will lead this newly formed team and manage the execution of the product backlog for an innovative new product that leverages big data. Ultimately, you should be able to oversee all aspects of feature development within the team to ensure the delivery of functional and stable product features for our SAAS application, in alignment with the company’s needs.

Responsibilities
Lead skilled engineers in the development of our product.
Oversee the entire development life cycle, from design and planning to implementation and support, maintaining a high software quality standard.
Work closely with the team’s product manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, architecture, and design.
Conduct design and code reviews, mentor and be a focal point for the team.
Be aligned with the team technical needs and capabilities.
Gather and address technical and design requirements.
Leverage Databricks to manage, transform, and process data.
Ensure on-time delivery of product milestones and releases.
Requirements
At least 2 years as team leader of R&D team.
At least 5 years of proven experience as a software engineer.
Experience as a software tech lead.
Experience developing cloud based applications.
Experience with cloud and big data technologies such as Databricks.
Great interpersonal skills.
Fast technology adaptation.
Independently driven, proactive, accountable, reliable, team player.
Advantages
Familiarity with either On-premise or Cloud storage systems.
Proficiency in Python. PySpark is a plus.
