About the Role:

We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented Director of AI and Machine Learning to lead our AI and data science strategy. This role will oversee a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, MLOps engineers, and AI developers focused on delivering innovative, scalable, and production-grade AI capabilities embedded within our SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end AI/ML strategy, from research to production, aligned with product and business goals.
Manage and mentor a cross-functional team including:

Data Scientists building ML algorithms and predictive models.

MLOps engineers ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of ML models.

AI developers driving applied AI innovations and POCs into production systems.

Drive adoption and integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multi-Modal Cognitive Processing (MCP) across product lines.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to integrate AI capabilities into our cloud-native Azure SaaS platform.
Drive the implementation of best practices in responsible AI, data governance, model explainability, and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
Champion a high-impact, iterative innovation process—balancing applied research with delivery cadence.
Establish key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and business value of AI initiatives.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in AI/ML leadership roles, with a track record of delivering ML systems in production.
Deep expertise in machine learning, LLMs, MCP, data science, and MLOps practices in cloud environments (preferably Azure).
Experience scaling AI initiatives within enterprise SaaS or high-growth tech companies.
Proven leadership of technical teams and complex cross-functional initiatives.
Strong understanding of data architecture, pipelines, and AI compliance standards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field is required; PhD strongly preferred.
