KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

All Level aspects of Warehouse Operations Including delivery to end users in Israel.
Warehousing and Dispatch of hazardous & non-hazardous goods.
Have a high level of understanding of the current transportation portion of the Supply Chain that impacts customers and safe transportation.
Constantly question current processes to ensure best practice
Liaise with current shipping vendors and always be looking out for superior service.
Provide expertise and auditing to ensure that Sigma-Aldrich and all freight partners carrying Sigma-Aldrich goods act within compliance to all current regulations for the transportation of hazardous goods.
Part of a Team of 9 employes.

Take part in all Safety training and embrace and encourage the safety and quality culture within the company, ensuring designated working area is clean and tidy at all times.
Pick / Pack materials for shipment to customers ensuring accuracy and Quality at all times.

Verifies chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in selecting, packing, or receiving instructions.
Packs materials, following established procedures and instructions while complying with hazard regulations.
Applies all required labels and markings to box to comply with hazardous materials regulations.
Uses proper equipment for appropriate order (size of order, weight etc.) Unpacks shipments for put away
Keeps work area and stock location safe, clean, and organized
Keeps packing materials organized and stored safely
Reports unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leads or any member of management
Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned
Unpack shipments and relocate items using the TekRF system.

Demonstrates Consistent Performance Mesures associated to Individuel Performance Target's.

Demonstrate Consistent Role Model Behavior in line with Company Policies.
Ensure that designated work area is maintained to meet the required standard of cleanliness and safety.
Understand the departmental key performance indicators and how role can affect them. Participate in process improvement activities as required.

EDUCATION/LANGUAGES

12 years education , basic English

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Proven Distribution and Warehousing experience

Needs to demonstrate an understanding of Working to Department KPls and how the role can impact these. Demonstrate the ability to work safely and productively and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-pace environment.
