About the Role
As a Data Curation Manager to lead and oversee the data curation and labeling process within our research group. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality data collection and annotation, supporting the development of AI-driven solutions. The Data Curation Manager will be responsible for managing a team of data labelers (both full-time and part-time), prioritizing tasks, and coordinating with multiple teams and team leads to push data collection and labeling forward efficiently.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage both in-house and outsourced data annotation teams, establishing clear standards, workflows, and quality guidelines to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
Collaborate with R&D, Product, and Operations teams to design, implement, and scale data curation workflows that enhance data quality, streamline annotation processes, and meet evolving project requirements.
Lead the development of pilot data curation projects, refining workflows and scaling successful processes to full production while continuously improving efficiency.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in data curation, operations, or leading large-scale data annotation teams.
Proven ability to oversee both in-house and outsourced labeling teams, ensuring high-quality, efficient data annotation.
Experience in designing, iterating, and scaling annotation workflows from pilot projects to full production.
Hands-on expertise with data labeling tools, workflow optimization, and quality control processes.
Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to improving efficiency, accuracy, and overall data quality.
