Student Position: Economist

Major areas of responsibility

Preparing economic reports (budget, forecast , etc.)

Analyzing the business units results.

Assist with the ongoing tasks of the department’s team (budget, report, etc.)

Taking part in the process of the budget preparation.

Preparing economic reports related to the budget, forecast and quarterly closing processes.

Gather the information on a consolidated level from several sources – BUs reports, subsidiaries reports and HO functions.

Correspond with the relevant unit regarding its report

Analyzing the business units results

Analyze the trends between periods and preparing detailed explanation for deviations in the results between periods and between the budget and the actual results.

Receiving explanations from the BUs regarding additional details, and trends related to their income and expenses items.

Assist with the ongoing tasks of the department’s team

· Handling Travel budget requests

· Updating budget in SAP

· KPI reports

· Saving report

· Preparing reports and figures on the company’s consolidated level

· Taking part in the process of the budget preparation.

Requirements:

A student of: Economics/ Business management
At least a year and a half study balance
Available for at least 2.5 days of work per week
Systems oriented
Analytical skills
High level of control in English language (Speaking, reading and writing). Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
High level of control in Office tools, Excel and Power point
