Cost Manager: (Electrical Focus)

The Opportunity:

In this role you will:

Support the commercial management of construction projects, ensuring cost control and value for money throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in the assessment and resolution of change orders, variations, contractual matters, and commercial issues.
Support the preparation, negotiation, and agreement of final accounts, including the assessment of contractor claims.
Prepare estimates, cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts at various stages of project development.
Produce accurate cost reports, valuations, and commercial analyses to support project decision-making.
Assist with tender and procurement activities, including preparing bid documentation, evaluating contractor submissions, and preparing commercial recommendations.
Monitor project expenditure, identify cost variances, and report commercial risks and opportunities to the project team.
Maintain accurate cost records and ensure all commercial documentation is completed in a timely manner.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with project procedures, contractual requirements, and company quality standards.

Have experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects
Ideally have data centres experience
Have a degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline
Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
Are happy to travel for short periods to meet with your clients, partners and team
Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.
