Proven experience in material planning, inventory management. At least 5 years of experience in hardware company

The Material Planner will oversee and optimize the availability and inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet company targets. This role requires close collaboration with multiple departments, including Purchasing, Engineering, Sales Operations, and Contract Manufacturing, to ensure smooth operations and mitigate any issues impacting inventory. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and proactively.

Key Responsibilities:

MRP System Oversight: Review and analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) recommendations from the Oracle system. Ensure data accuracy, address any discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
Inventory Management: Plan and manage the end-to-end availability of raw materials (RM) and finished goods (FG) to fulfill customer orders while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Define and manage utilization plan, manage and control on it.
Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Identify and analyze risks related to stock availability. Develop and execute plans to reduce inventory levels, ensuring full ownership of the implementation process.
ECO: analyzing ECO meaning, define and manage required activities to inure optimization of implementation date
Cross-Functional Coordination: Lead and coordinate planning activities across various departments, including Procurement, Sales, R&D, Engineering, Product Management, Contract Manufacturing, and Finance.
Project Leadership: Manage projects aimed at enhancing operational and planning processes. Develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure to support these improvements.
Process Development and Evaluation: Plan, develop, and assess processes for material delivery from suppliers. Ensure processes meet agreed standards and targets, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Inventory Analysis: Manage and analyze inventory levels against targets. Lead initiatives and forums to reduce excess inventory and optimize stock levels.
Reporting and Communication: Create and present statistical reports and analyses to update stakeholders within the organization.
