Algorithm Developer for Geometric Team

You will be part of Mobileye's REM (Road Experience Management) department which is responsible for the automatic High Definition map-making process, a key technology in Mobileye's autonomous driving and high-end Driving Assistance systems. This process involves running advanced algorithmic code in a massively parallel way, utilizing Big Data technologies, and as such is a complex system that requires a deep understanding of our map creation process as well as advanced technical abilities.

We're seeking a Geometrically Inclined Algorithm Developer to solve real-world geometrically oriented problems using Signal Processing. The role involves developing and maintaining algorithms in Python, with a focus on both existing products and new features. You'll work hands-on throughout the process, from research to production, collaborating with other teams. The position has a direct impact on autonomous driving technologies and saving lives.
What will your job look like:
Your job will include a combination of classic programming and algorithm development.
You will develop in python.
You will need to both maintain the product and develop new features.
You will need to learn and develop new algorithms which can address new problems as they arise.
All you need is:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Physics - a must.
2+ years of experience in developing in Python. (Specifically, NumPy, pandas and PySpark are an advantage)
Proven ability to solve complex problems.
Advanced degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) – an advantage.
Experience in statistical estimation – an advantage.
Experience in real-time programming, preferably in C/C++ – an advantage.
