Medical Science Liaison is the extension of the medical function in the field. They build and develop enduring ‘win-win' relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to generate insights. MSL is executing the field medical activities that are aligned and integrated to the overall medical strategy within the Vaccines CSE MCO.

Main responsibilities:

Be the trusted scientific partner to key external experts by conducting timely, appropriate and frequent scientific exchanges to enhance the understanding of the scientific and medical value of our products.
Actively engages with appropriate stakeholders on medical, clinical, epidemiologic, and scientific topics during an one-on-one interactions and group settings, to advance their understanding of the disease by sharing information and answering questions based on approved material within Regulatory guidelines.
Effectively utilizes the Scientific Engagement Model to plan territory and individual stakeholder (Key Opinion Leaders, payers, HCP etc.) medical strategy and engagement interaction plans consistent with the Field Base Medical Activity Plan and medical function priorities.
Supporting external lecturers in delivering balanced, non-promotional knowledge about therapeutic areas and Sanofi products.
Participating in the development and implementation of educational programs to improve the daily practice of healthcare professionals.
Organize and run external scientific events for Sanofi about relevant disease or therapeutic topics.
Attending conferences and scientific symposia in the relevant therapeutic area.
Provide scientific support to the commercial team as necessary.
Collect key insights about the market, competitors, therapies, and customers.
Actively participate in on-going capabilities building sessions to improve medical knowledge, soft skills, and technical skills

About you

Experience:

Relevant medical background working as a Medical Scientific Liaison role or similar position within the pharmaceutical industry - advantage.
Knowledge of the healthcare organization in Isarel and the pharmaceutical market and additional experience will be an asset.
Experience in collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and medical professionals will be an asset.
Strong understanding and critical review of published articles and clinical trial results.
Soft and technical skills.
Well-developed relationship-building skills.
Independence, decisiveness, initiative, and teamwork skills.
Ability to learn quickly and effectively.
Ability to prioritize and consistently complete tasks.
Communication and presentation skills - ability to communicate and present scientific knowledge.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Driving license
Education: Advanced (Masters or beyond) degree in a technical, scientific or medical field required
Languages: Very good command of English. Professional proficiency in Hebrew.
Willingness to travel throughout Israel.
