KPMG Israel is looking for a passionate and experienced Hands-On Tech Lead to join our Technology Consulting department and lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge Generative AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology leadership and hands-on development, and who is excited to shape the future of AI-driven innovation for top-tier clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Generative AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, multimodal models, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, prompt engineering).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, consultants, and business stakeholders.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in GenAI and translate them into practical, scalable solutions.
Guide and mentor junior developers and AI engineers.
Work closely with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Ensure high-quality delivery, performance, and security of AI applications.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in AI/ML-related roles.
Proven hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks and tools (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases).
Strong programming skills in Python (including libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP) and deploying AI models in production.
Solid understanding of ML lifecycle, MLOps, and data pipelines.
Experience working in or with professional services / consulting firms – an advantage.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning LLMs, or building custom copilots.
Familiarity with enterprise use cases in finance, healthcare, or public sector.
Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.
