Medical Director

Rafa is looking for a Medical Director

Responsibilities:

Representing the company in front of existing and potential business partners/customers, in scientific aspects
Analyzing opportunities for potential new products - reviewing details re product, relevant diseases, market, competition, etc.
Overseeing and managing professional aspects of CRO activities within framework of new product development for overseas markets
Preparing applications for inclusion of new products in the Israeli health basket
Introducing new products to the Israeli health funds
Leading discussions with physicians who are considered Key Opinion Leaders
Supporting and participating in the company’s advisory board for physicians - answering questions and expanding scientific knowledge
Analyzing competing products while understanding marketing and commercial needs
Providing consultations regarding content of marketing materials
Writing and training of medical learning materials (training booklets and presentations, training new representatives and enrichment for other company employees)
Delivering enrichment lectures to professional audiences
Providing support for clinical submissions to the Pharmacy Department of the Israeli Ministry of Health (required for updating indications and dosage regimens)
Coordinating and signing medical agreements with manufacturers abroad

Requirements:

Israeli license to practice medicine/dentistry/veterinary - mandatory
Previous experience in a pharmaceutical company for at least two years - mandatory
Previous experience as a medical director/manager in a pharmaceutical company - an advantage
Fluent English (mother tongue level) – speaking, reading and writing
Self-learning abilities; accurate, in-depth and independent scientific work; ability to lead, represent, cooperate and coordinate between various parties within the company and outside, in Israel and abroad
