What you’re applying for

We're looking for a Business Operations Senior Lead, to drive profitability and growth across our Car insurance line while leading strategic initiatives that move Lemonade forward.

You'll work as a "mini-COO" for our Car Company, tackling the biggest business challenges while collaborating on cross-functional projects that take ideas from 0 to 1. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution — where data meets decision-making and where your leadership directly impacts our mission to transform insurance.

In this role you'll

Drive profitability and growth strategies for our Car insurance business as a strategic business partner

Lead cross-functional initiatives that span Product, Insurance, Finance, and Customer Operations teams

Take strategic projects from concept to execution, working across multiple stakeholder groups

Analyze complex business challenges and translate insights into actionable recommendations

Influence decision-making at the leadership level while building alignment across diverse teams

Navigate rapidly changing priorities and guide teams through strategic pivots

Partner with Product, Actuarial, Finance, and Revenue teams to optimize business performance

What you'll need

6+ years in management consulting (strategy and operations) or business operations with leadership experience

Track record of driving impact and influencing decisions across multiple stakeholder groups

Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment while maintaining strategic focus

Strong analytical mindset with experience turning data into business strategy

Experience leading cross-functional projects and building consensus across diverse teams

Ready to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week

Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
