The Hotel Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests and staff, and property. Your role includes developing and maintaining security procedures in compliance with Israeli regulations and hotel standards, managing the security and maintenance team, and maintaining a welcoming yet secure atmosphere for guests. The successful candidate has also good technical knowledge and a proactive mindset, acts as a problem solver and can think out of the box. Your technical skills will help the creation and monitoring of day to day maintenance, minimize out of order rooms and general point of contact for all maintenance related topic.

YOUR TASKS

Manage all hotel security operations, including guards, control room, and surveillance systems.

Develop and enforce security policies and emergency procedures according to Israeli law and hotel chain requirements.

Conduct daily patrols and regular inspections of public areas, entrances, back-of-house, and parking areas.

Oversee and operate CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.

Respond to and investigate security incidents, thefts, and guest complaints related to safety.

Coordinate with the Israel Police, Fire Department, and local authorities when required.

Train hotel employees on emergency evacuation, guest safety, and suspicious activity awareness.

Able to effectively work with senior management to implement sound operational policies aligned with the hotel’s business goals

Strong knowledge of facilities and engineering principles and procedures

Working knowledge of pertinent government building and maintenance codes

Excellent skills in construction and renovation of similar physical facilities

Experience in managing sub-contractors, contract negotiation, purchasing and receiving, and overall financial management of facilities projects

Reputation for handling situations and confidential information discretely, projecting a positive, professional and supportive outward image and exercising good judgment for the position

Ability and desire to train others

Management of contractors and FM service suppliers, coordination of the repair of damage and defects in the hotel (i.e. repair measures after water damage, construction defects)

Ensure all activities meet maintenance standards, health, safety and regulations are followed

Warranty prosecution in coordination with owners, property managers and external companies

Obtain competitive quotations as per given requirements and policies. Negotiate with suppliers.

Maintains a strong relation with service providers and key suppliers to support maintenance of property

Responsible for tracking maintenance services, asset renewal and spare parts availability, unblocking rooms out-of-order

Participation in the preparation of budgets, adherence to and reporting of budgets in the area of responsibility

Manage daily facility operations and preventive maintenance of rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and technical systems.

YOUR PROFILE

Israeli citizenship (mandatory).

Valid Hotel Security Officer (קב"ט מלון) certification from the Israeli Ministry of Public Security.

Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel or facility security management.

Bachelor's degree, or at least 2 years proven experience, in Facility Management in preferably Hospitality Facilities

Background in the IDF, police, or private security – strong advantage.

Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills

Fluent in Hebrew and English (additional languages an advantage).

Professional appearance and guest-oriented approach.

Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Proficiency in security systems, surveillance technologies, and reporting tools.

Strong computing skills demonstrating proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Ability to review information in a factual and neutral manner, analyse data and prepare reports and documents in a timely manner

Management, Engineering or business administration fields.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours

Outstanding interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Strong analytical skills and financial/business acumen

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Experience in maintenance of assets and building installations is a plus

Ability apply problem solving skills and techniques
