S&TC Project Installation Engineer

JOB TITLE & JOB CODE Job Title (Job Code): S&TC Project Installation Engineer PURPOSE OF THE JOB Lead and execute Installation Engineering (IE) activities in support of Projects, in close cooperation with the Installation and engineering teams within S&TC Installation scope Ensure delivery and quality of the documentation in compliance with S&TC strategies Ensure the application of EHS policies, local regulations and professional standards ORGANISATION Organisation structure (job belongs to..) HN NofIT RSY / Signaling and Scada Reports directly to: Hierarchical: HN S&TC PTM Functionally: HN S&TC PrYM Other reporting to: Functional report line to PM/PTM/PrYM/PrFOM/PrSOM (during project execution and operations phase) Direct reports: Functional leading the Installation Engineering team (Engineers, technicians, and draftsmen) for specific project Network & Links Internal Project Core Team and Project Operations Team BIM team and Engineering members Interface Manager Methods & Tools Community Project EHS Manager External Vendor/Supplier of Installation Material Contractors, Partners, 3rd Parties Customer MAIN RESPONSABILITIES In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Project Installation Engineering Leader organizes, leads, and coordinates the IE studies and activities, in coordination with the PM/PTM/PrYM/PrSOM/PrFOM, Site Managers and Installation Supervisors, including: Organize and lead the full Project Installation Engineering Team both onshore and offshore. Review and validate the installation engineering designs. Provide the list of deliverables with related schedule and workload, also in accordance with the reference library (analysis of reusable documents, gaps, …) Propose the validation cycle of the documentation (Internal and external: Customer, Subcontractor, …) Report on the progress of the delivery of the document to be provided as per schedule Support the PM/PTM/PrYM/PrSOM/PrFOM for QCD review of the IE activities, including Risk identification and mitigation proposal Interfaces with other Project stakeholders – internal or external - for getting needed data, for delivering the IE Identifies and reports on issues on document and drawing delivered and provide REX on main route cause of issues and on reference library evolution Performs Site Surveys during preparation and execution phase (if necessary) Liaises with BIM Coordinators to coordinate common Installation Engineering studies and deliverables Ensure application of D&IS Installation and FO Process for Installation Engineering activities Performance measurements IE deliverables meeting Projects QCD targets. Interface Deliverables Number of documents and drawing version. Achieve optimizations in projects. PM: Project Manager PTM: Project Technical Manager PrYM: Sig Project Installation Manager PrSOM: Sig Project Site Operations Manager PrFOM: Sig Project Field Operation Manager FO: Field Operations QCD: Quality, Cost & Delivery D&IS: Digital & Integrated systems Educational Requirements Mandatory: B.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Desirable: Certification on Autocad and/or other Design tool Experience Mandatory: Minimum of 5 Years of professional experience in Engineering / Technical functions 5 years’ experience Railway products and/or services Strong knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M) 5+ year's production experience in design, drafting or engineering (Project and/or construction experience appreciated) Desirable: Experience of management by Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives EHS background Knowledge of BIM procedures and tools Competencies & Skills Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to fulfil the role of interface manager toward internal staff and team members Quality-focused, rigorous, team-player Decision-making and problem-solving ability Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve complex engineering issues Innovative attitude aiming to improve continuously the way of working and performance Fluent in English and Hebrew Ability to adapt to multi-disciplinary environments Problem resolution skills Result oriented mindset Ability to work under stringent timelines Technically skilled and experienced in working with teams across multiple disciplines.
