Data Science Student - Part Time

Join Atera's dynamic Data Science (DS) team to build, maintain, and improve machine learning (ML) models that power critical SaaS business decisions.

Help advance predictive analytics and support a growing AI-driven culture.

Responsibilities

Build ML models to predict various aspects of the Atera SaaS business.
Monitor and improve existing predictive models and their infrastructure.
Maintain ML models’ infrastructure
Work on models’ explain ability and trust with business partners
Support other DS tasks such as statistical analysis

Requirements:

Requirements

Outstanding Bachelor degree student (at least in 3rd year) from a university in one of the following areas: Computer science, Statistics, Engineering

Programming knowledge

Proficiency in Python coding, including relevant packages such as Sklearn, NumPy, Pandas
Proficiency in SQL
Previous experience in Python development (outside of the degree) - advantage

DS Knowledge

Familiar with classic ML algorithms
Familiar with DS methodologies
Experience with real world ML models - advantage
Strong statistical background - advantage

Background:

Experience in data-related positions is a plus
Experience working in a SaaS company is a plus
