We are looking for a highly motivated AI Researcher with strong theoretical and hands-on expertise in Machine Learning. In this role, you will design, prototype, and deploy data-driven experiments that enhance the performance and capabilities of Cymbio’s platform. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams, applying advanced research to real-world business challenges. We are seeking someone passionate about making significant technical AND business contributions that will support and expand Cymbio’s taxonomy.

Responsibilities:
Conceive, design, and conduct ML experiments to improve platform features such as product data enrichment and optimization, feature extraction from images, demand and price forecasting, real-time analytics, and more.
Employ sound research methodologies, evaluate new ideas, and iterate based on experimental results.
Work with diverse data sets (product data, inventory, order, transactional logs) and build robust pipelines for data collection, cleaning, transformation, and exploration.
Translate research outcomes into production-level code while collaborating with engineering teams.
Integrate external APIs and open-source solutions, fine-tuning them to meet business requirements.
Partner with product managers to align solutions with user needs and business objectives.
Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to ensure smooth deployment and scaling of AI models.
Requirements:
PhD, Master’s, or relevant experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Love working with Data with 4+ years of experience in ML/DL frameworks.
Deep understanding of classical machine learning and modern deep learning architectures (LLMs, Transformers).
Proficiency with Python and data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
Experience designing and running experiments, including hyperparameter tuning, model validation, and performance evaluation.
Ability to translate abstract research findings into actionable solutions aligned with business goals.
Demonstrated ability to work with large, unstructured data sets, from data sourcing and cleaning to model deployment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with colleagues.

Ability to work independently.
Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Strong interpersonal and communication in English - written and verbal.
E-commerce experience & familiarity with cloud platforms are advantages.
