We are a venture-backed startup on a fast track to launch deeply personalized multi-modal AI agents (voice / text / image / video) that keep users engaged for well over an hour per session.

You will join at an early inflection point, shape the technical vision hands-on, and build the engineering organisation from the ground up while serving as the technical voice in all senior-leadership forums.

Responsibilities

Deliver the full production stack powering our AI agents (APIs, ML pipelines, real-time voice & media streaming, high-risk payment flows).
Make final calls on infra, languages, data stores, GPU/accelerator strategy, and multi-region deployment.
Convert cutting-edge LLM and Generative-AI research into stable, scalable features (RAG, LoRA/PEFT, RLHF).
Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage an offshore team (back-end, ML, DevOps, QA).
Drive internal hack-days, open-source contributions, and continuous learning across the whole business.
Implement Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and act as the bridge between product, business, and engineering—bringing the voice, needs, and challenges of R&D into every exec discussion.

Requirements:

10 + yrs building & leading back-end engineering and DevOps organisations.
Proven track record delivering low-latency, micro-service architectures at scale (Go, Python, Node, or similar).
4 + yrs owning cloud & Kubernetes stacks (EKS/GKE, Terraform, GitOps/Argo).
Demonstrated success hiring and managing distributed / offshore teams.
Excellent communicator who can translate between business OKRs and technical sprint plans.

Strong Advantages

Hands-on delivery of AI-agent products; AI-Girlfriend or companion apps = huge plus.
End-to-end deployment of RLHF or RAG pipelines.
Experience selling or integrating deep-tech products into large enterprises (shows you can meet high compliance bars).
Open-source maintainer or significant contributor.
Hebrew fluency.
