Mechanical Engineerזיהוי דרישה: 4432מיקום גאוגרפי: מרכזחברה: ElbitSystemsעיר: ראש העיןFlying Production, a leading drone development company in Israel and worldwide, is growing and looking for Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineer for the Aero mechanical design teamWhat will you do:Mechanical design of drone, various aerial platforms and mechanism design using advanced materials and manufacturing technologiesHandling challenges across multiple aspects, including thermal management, PID control, material strength, electrical packaging etc.Conducting experiments, analyzing test results, and assessing their impact on the product and its componentsPreparing drawings and technical documents such as specifications, test plans and moreProviding engineering support to manufacturing departmentsWorking in a multidisciplinary environment with other departments at the company and managing the product from start to finishParticipating in evaluations, design reviews, and risk assessmentsWorking independently and as part of a teamWhat we are looking for:Talented mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering with passion to developing the future solutions, learning new things and to be a part of winning teamAt least three years of experience in engineering design and end-to-end project managementAt least two years of experience in the aviation, space, drone, or model aircraft fields (professionally or as a hobby)Proven experience in development multidisciplinary systems integrating mechanics, electronics, software and mechanism designStrong engineering understanding and ability to perform various engineering calculationsKnowledge of material strength, material selection, and manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, plastic injection, 3D printing, coatings, adhesives etc.)Deep knowledge of technical drawings, production files, and transitioning designs from development to productionExpert proficiency in SOLIDWORKS CAD softwareExperience in structural and thermal analysis using SOLIDWORKS (advantage)Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) (advantage)Experience in injection molding design (advantage)Proficiency in MS Office softwareLanguages:Proficiency in Hebrew and technical English, including experience in technical writing in both languages
