Director of Quality

A senior position responsible for company’s Quality Assurance, leading new and existing initiatives. You’ll be part of the engineering leadership team, reporting to the SVP engineering, driving the quality aspects of the company.

You will own the automation infrastructure, performance and scale strategy and tooling and set the technical direction for the quality work to meet the quality objectives of our product. In addition, you will dictate, lead and drive the quality assurance procedures of the various engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

Manage the automation team to build from scratch the company’s infrastructure.
Lead in the definition and implementation of direction on automation techniques and adherence to standards.
Lead and mentor cross-functional QA professionals.
Continuously assess and optimize testing methodologies to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to promote a quality mindset throughout the organization.
Establish and monitor (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of QA processes and the quality indicators of the company.
Generate and present regular reports on QA metrics and progress to leadership.

Requirements:

Proven experience in quality leadership roles in a fast-paced software development environment.
Ability to lead and engage others for the company's quality goals.
In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Continuous learning mindset and a commitment to staying current with industry trends.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks and deep understanding of best practices and the technology behind it.
Knowledge of agile and DevOps methodologies.
Hands-on experience working with Linux, including scripting skills and CI tools in a cloud environment, including K8S and Docker
Experience leading the quality of SaaS products used by thousands of customers, at a very high scale.
