Position Overview

We are seeking an R&D Physicist to join our multidisciplinary research and development team. This role involves leading feasibility studies, defining new product specifications, conducting experimental work and simulations, and supporting the full development lifecycle from concept to production.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with a structured approach to project execution, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Lead feasibility studies for new product concepts and emerging technologies
Design, execute, and analyse complex experiments and simulations
Define product specifications based on performance goals and application requirements
Spearhead new product characterization and validation
Manage R&D projects from kick-off to production-ready stage

Collaborate with customers and suppliers to support technical development and integration, on-spec and on-time deliveries

Candidate Profile

MSc or PhD in Physics, Chemical Physics, or Materials Science
Proven ability to conduct and lead independent research and development
Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on experimental capabilities
Experience in data analysis and simulation tools; MATLAB or Python - an advantage
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Experience in project management - an advantage
