Operation project / Configuration Engineer

You will be responsible for owning the product from an operational perspective throughout its lifecycle, ensuring that all product data, BOMs, documentation, and processes are complete, accurate, and enable efficient supply chain and production execution. The role works closely with R&D and Supply Chain and leads the establishment of PLM processes and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

NPI / Operation ENG PLM infrastucture imnplemntation
Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) from design to production
Validate BOM completeness, accuracy, and manufacturability
Define Approved Vendor List (AVL) and alternative components
Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Procurement (DFP)
Manage ECO / MCO processes and engineering changes
Establish manufacturing processes and assembly instructions
Work with contract manufacturers and suppliers on product readiness
Identify and mitigate technical and supply risks early
Ensure smooth transition from development to mass production

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in Product Operations / NPI / Operations Engineering
Experience in hardware-based environments ( manufacturing – advantage)
Strong understanding of BOM structures and product definition
Experience with ECO / MCO and change management processes
Experience working with PLM and ERP systems
Strong experience working cross-functionally with R&D and Supply Chain
Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Team player with good communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
