Background

AMAT- PDC tools do inspection and analysis of defects, in chip fabrication process.

In the basis of these tools there are optical or electronic microscopes that uses top edge technologies from Physics, Electronics, Motion and control and more.

Our group

We have existing R&D team that will help to sustain manufacturability of PDC tools by creative design solutions for modules with obsolescence problems.

In addition, this team will design innovative test setups to perform ATP to modules and subsystems, including HW and SW.

Job description

Lead the design process of testers and obsolete parts for electronic modules in Applied Materials Israel tools.
Lead a team of designers inhouse employs and external vendors
Lead challenging development testers for analog & digital boards and high precision modules, that are integrated in our products.
Lead module obsolete solutions, operate with design vendors. Build to spec, build to print modules in electronic modules, define replacement / second source, design to release through all development process.

Knowledge and experience

Electrical Engineer MSE, BSE with design experience of 10-15 years or more
Board designer, layout, lab, and debug, SW, FW experience
Development of Analog and digital electronics
Development of Analog and digital boards
Hands on lab and testing experience
Development of testers design, LabVIEW, - advantage
Managerial experience
Knowledge in safety certifications SEMI, UL, CE
