The Role
We are looking for an Experienced Backend Engineer to join our growing SaaS platform infrastructure team. The SaaS infra team is responsible for making sure we are ready for our next phase of growth in 2023 as we march toward our goal of delivering a seamless work from anywhere experience for our customers.
As a Senior SaaS Infra Engineer, you’ll be responsible for taking services from design to production while working closely with Product Managers to define and extend the SaaS infra capabilities. You’ll have impact company-wide and will be working with experienced developers, security, DevOps as well as other professionals within ControlUp.

Qualifications:
5+ Years development experience in Node.JS and Java
Proven experience with designing, developing, testing, and deploying high scale, cloud base solutions
Experience with monitoring production environments
Experience with debugging and troubleshooting production issues
Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and design patterns
Passionate for continuously improving your skills and learning new technologies
Experience using and working with AI tools in an AI environment - an advantage
Experience with Postgres and Redis - an advantage
Experience building full-stack applications using React - an advantage
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
