Key Responsibilities

Optical Assembly and Testing

Assemble, align, and calibrate optical components such as lenses, filters, and fiber arrays.
Inspect optical elements for alignment, cleanliness, and adherence to specifications.
Conduct tests to verify system performance and ensure compliance with design standards.

System Integration and Support

Assist engineers in integrating optical components into larger systems.
Support prototype testing and calibration to optimize performance.
Help refine designs to improve functionality and efficiency.

Lab Management

Maintain and calibrate lab equipment used for assembly and testing.
Organize and track optical components and tools, ensuring inventory availability.

Requirements:

Required Skills and Attributes

Knowledge of optical components and systems (e.g., lenses, fiber, coatings).
3+ years of experience working with precision alignment tools and optical calibration.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

Basic knowledge of electronics, including circuits and soldering, to support system integration.
Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving system-level performance issues.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
