You will work closely with Engineering, Finance, Security, and Platform teams to drive cost visibility, accountability, and optimization—while building automation and guardrails that enable sustainable cloud growth.What you’ll do:Lead AWS cost optimization efforts across multiple AWS accounts and AWS OrganizationsAnalyze cloud spend, identify inefficiencies, and drive actionable cost-saving initiativesOptimize costs across EC2, EKS, networking, storage, and data transferManage and optimize Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot usage, and purchasing strategiesDesign and enforce cost allocation models using tagging strategies and AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR)Build automation, tooling, and guardrails using Terraform and Python to prevent cost wastePerform deep technical troubleshooting, analysis, and root-cause investigations related to cloud usage and spendPartner closely with Engineering, Finance, and Security teams to establish cost governance and best practicesProvide visibility and reporting on cloud costs, trends, and optimization impactSupport scalable, secure, and efficient AWS platform operationsRequirements:8+ years of hands-on AWS experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or FinOps-related rolesExpert-level knowledge of AWS services and pricing models, including EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, S3, CloudWatch, and networkingDeep understanding of AWS Organizations, multi-account architectures, and cost governance at scaleStrong experience optimizing EKS and containerized workloads from a cost and performance perspectiveProven experience managing Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot, and cost allocation strategiesHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using TerraformStrong scripting and automation skills using Python and/or BashSolid understanding of cloud networking, security, and large-scale architecturesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.Nice to have:Experience with FinOps frameworks and best practicesFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)Experience building internal cost dashboards or toolingOffice Location:Petah Tikva
