abra R&D is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer!

abra R&D is looking for a backend engineer to help build the next‑generation Database built from scratch for AI Agents.

As a backend engineer, you will help build an SDK layer on top of a custom AI‑Agent Database, enabling external developers and internal systems to integrate easily, efficiently, and safely.

This is not a standard backend role; it is infrastructure‑level development, touching core systems used by AI Agents in production.

What you’ll do:

Design and develop SDKs as an abstraction layer over the database
Build integrations with internal and external systems
Design backend systems from scratch (0 1)
Own system design, architecture decisions, and feature definitions
Build large‑scale infrastructure similar to trading systems or high‑throughput platforms
Develop production‑grade backend services
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of Backend experience
Strong experience with Node.js / Python / Go / Rust (flexible stack)
Proven experience building SDKs and integrations
Strong system design and architecture skills
Experience with large‑scale infrastructure
Ability to define and implement features independently
