Director of Solution Architect

RADCOM (Nasdaq: RDCM) is the leading expert in 5G ready cloud-native, network intelligence solutions for telecom operators transitioning to 5G. RADCOM Network Intelligence consists of RADCOM Network Visibility, RADCOM Service Assurance, and RADCOM Network Insights. The RADCOM Network Intelligence suite offers intelligent, container-based, on-demand solutions to deliver network analysis from the RAN to the Core for 5G assurance.

The Director of Solution Architect will be responsible for design and define our solution while assuring it meets our customers’ needs.
Responsible to perform analysis of solution stability and availability as well as capacity, sizing and performance analysis to validate the design is keeping up with the customer requirements and quality standards, taking into consideration the platform (private/public cloud) and wireless network coverage (User Plan domain, which includes voice, data, and customer care segments).

The successful candidate will lead a process and interfaces with the solution engineers who are working side by side with the customers; will work closely with R&D Managers, System architects, and Product team to assure proper detailed design and implementation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Solution Architect, System Architect)
Experience in management or a leadership role
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Maintain a deep understanding of the telecom market, particularly in network assurance and monitoring, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment
Broad experience and knowledge with telecommunications including voice and data.
Sound knowledge, understanding and experience in networking at all layers.
Familiarity and experience with 4G, 5G Wireless data-core, access and voice
Familiarity and experience with the following technologies and protocols, such as VoIP, SIP, RTP, Diameter, GTP, IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTP2, S1AP and others.
Strong understanding of Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), telecom voice requirements, and related assurance technologies.
Experience with networking and systems, Storage.
Experience in working with virtual environment and systems including containers
Experience with Cloud technologies, including Kubernetes.
Demonstrate track record of successful design of complex solutions.
Proven track record of managing product life cycles and successfully launching products in the telecom sector.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with the competitive landscape in the telecom industry.
Experience with database and analytics- an advantage.
