About the role

We are looking for an experienced and talented Head of Data to join our leadership team in Israel. This is a strategic senior role, reporting directly to the local CEO, with full ownership of the Data pillar. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists, managing high-impact, cross-functional projects that support key business goals.

Beyond team leadership, you'll shape how data is used across the organization — from building the right infrastructure and tools to unlocking insights that drive decisions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll turn complex business needs into practical data solutions, influence product direction, and stay hands-on with real technical challenges. You’ll work directly with cutting-edge technologies like BigQuery, Python, machine learning (ML), web scraping, and large language models (LLMs) to drive innovation and enable data-driven decision-making across the company. This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic impact with daily technical depth in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Data pillar in Israel, including a multidisciplinary team of Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.
Be hands-on in solving complex data challenges and contributing directly to core data initiatives.
Oversee end-to-end delivery of cross-organizational data projects.
Collaborate closely with various departments including Marketing, Finance, Sales, and senior management.
Partner with global data teams across the organization.
Own the local data infrastructure, data quality, and analytical and operational processes.
Champion a data-driven mindset and foster collaboration around data.

Requirements:
Proven experience managing data teams – required.
Hands-on experience with SQL – required.
Experience with data visualization tools (preferably Tableau) – required.
Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives.
Strategic thinking and the ability to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
High level of English – required (for collaboration with international teams).
Ability to navigate corporate organizational structures – a significant advantage.
